Our Anti-Ragging Committee

To uphold the dignity of our institution and ensure a ragging-free environment, KT School of Pharmacy has established a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee. The committee is responsible for implementing all necessary measures to prevent ragging and ensure that any incident is dealt with swiftly and effectively. We adhere to the guidelines set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education in combating ragging.
The Anti-Ragging Committee includes senior faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives who work together to maintain discipline and ensure the well-being of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prevention : Raising awareness and providing orientation programs to both freshers and senior students regarding the detrimental effects of ragging.
  • Monitoring : Regular monitoring of the campus, hostels, canteens, and other student areas through Anti-Ragging Squads.
  • Complaint Handling: A confidential and efficient process for students to report incidents of ragging, ensuring their privacy and safety.
  • Penalties and Disciplinary Actions: Strict action against any student found guilty of ragging, in accordance with the law and UGC regulations.

Anti-Ragging Awareness Campaigns

KT School of Pharmacy believes in proactive measures to eliminate ragging. We conduct regular awareness campaigns, including:
  • Sensitization programs for students and faculty members.
  • Distribution of leaflets and posters across campus highlighting the penalties for ragging.
  • Public notices and awareness campaigns on the website and in the admission brochures.
